We were even blessed with a catered dinner prepared by a personal chef. I left the event feeling valued, uplifted, and spiritually renewed. I was invited to the Divine Call for a Divine Exchange event in 2017, hosted by Dr. Brenda Bannister. From the moment I arrived, everything was in excellent order. The enemy tried his best to stop me from attending, but by the grace of God I made it—and I was tremendously blessed. Dr. B’s message on ascension and going higher in God marked my life forever.

At that time, I was jobless, in an unhealthy relationship, and completely empty. Yet I left the event with my spirit renewed and refreshed. I received knowledge, resources, anointed oil, devotionals, and a beautiful prayer shawl—tools that helped me begin again. Dr. B didn’t stop there; she followed up with calls and texts to check on my progress. Many of those calls came on days when I desperately needed to refocus my faith.

I’ve known Brenda all of her life. She is like the daughter I’ve never had. I share things with her that I would never share with anyone else because she is prayerful and trustworthy- not a gossiper.  Over the years, Brenda has hosted several events in her home under the theme: “The Divine Call of a Divine Exchange”.  These events, which took place during the earlier part of the past decade, were all personally financed by her – each requiring an investment of nearly $5,000 per event, to create an intimate and sacred atmosphere for about 30 young men and women whom God had placed on her heart. Her desire was to pour into their spiritual lives and help them grow in their walk with the Lord.
