Today, I was led to share the teaching portion of this blog from one of the resources of Apostle John Eckhardt.
In these times of total surrender and focus we are able to hear the voice of God quickly. While these practices are good, this is not where we live and do life daily. We must tune into the inner conversation in the marketplace, on our jobs, at the grocery store, and all during our daily routines. There are so many ways that God can reveal to us that something somewhere is off. Our spiritual senses are complex! We have eyes in the spirit realm!
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:17-18
Paul was praying for the opening of spiritual eyes. Spiritual eyes receive pictures, visions, dreams, and visual leading. You can be led by the Spirit of God by what you see. This is critical in discerning of spirits. You also have spiritual ears! Your spirit man has ears that are designed to hear the word of the Lord.
- Voice of the Lord –When you clearly hear the Lord speak to you, whether that is a whisper as in a still small voice, a thundering voice, or the audible voice of God
- Instructions spoken to inner man – this is like an inner conversation. You hear the direction of the Lord released to you as as a voice inside of you.
- You can receive impressions, thoughts and subtle revelations by the mind of the Spirit.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:27
Some of the Leadings that come through the Mind of the Spirit
- God thoughts – illuminations that come like thoughts but are born of the spirit
KEYS
- Learn about the spiritual senses
- Tune into the inner conversation. You may hear a no right off the bat.
- Do not ignore troubling dreams, thoughts, or impressions.
- Keep a strong and consistent daily prayer life.
- Daily prayer will release daily revelation.
- When praying, take time to listen! Prayer is a dialogue not a monologue.
- Be sensitive to Holy Spirit prompting about closing doors.
- Do not override warning signs concerning people and ministries.
- When you sense a spiritual attack of heaviness go into prayer and ask for revelation of any hidden demons
- Be quick to repent if there is an open door.

Our walk with God is one of discovery! We are constantly reaching new places in the realm of His Spirit. Each new place provides fresh insight into the mind and heart of God. As born again children of God we are called to unlock, see, and discover.
The picture here is that God reveals intimate things to those who are close to Him. There is a pursuit that unlocks that revealing. People often limit the scope and reach of God’s mysteries and wisdom in their life because they are opening from a place of fear, bondage, condemnation.
Truths about Mysteries
- They are not hidden from you but preserved for you.
- They are easier to discover than you think
- They will hit your spirit at unlikely times.
- To capture them you have to live “tuned in”….constantly listening and ready to record or write at any time.
- They can come forth as flashers in the mind. Sudden bursts. You record and then pray over them.
- They will launch you onto new levels of function in the spirit.
- They will empower you for success.
- They can fortify your deliverance.
- They come often as you pray in The Spirit.
Disciplines to Receive Mysteries
- Pray frequently in other tongues.
- Confess the mind of God.
- Practice mediating upon the word. This means to read, speak, ponder amd repeat.
- Learn to listen to spiritual senses.
- Have more faith in your ability to receive than your ability to be blocked.
- Learn the glory realm.
- Love the glory realm.
- Live in the glory realm.
Prayer to Discover Hidden Mysteries
Father, I thank you, for the privilege of knowing your heart. I thank you that you have stored up wisdom and mysteries for me to discover. Thank you that I walk in revelation. Thank you for your plans and purposes being illuminated to me in the name of Jesus ❤ Amen.
