2 Corinthians 10:4

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”.

The word warfare is taken from the word stratos.  The word stratos is derived from the word strategy.

Spiritual Warfare does not occur accidentally but is something that is strategically planned; and OBEDIENCE to divinely inspired strategies is a Master KEY to Overcoming Warfare!

Consider the strategy of Joshua and the children of Israel as they stood before the walls of Jericho or consider the strategy given to Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:20-25. What army would send singers and musicians to the frontlines of battle to face armed soldiers?  How were these battles won?  They received divine strategies from the Lord and followed them explicitly.

So don’t be shocked in receiving divine strategies from the Holy Spirit that defys your mental reasonings. Remember He operates on a higher level than you. But you can be sure that Spirit-inspired strategies executed in obedience will always assure your VICTORY!!!

Blessings Beloved,

After much supplication in silence throughout my time of recent consecration, my prayer ended with the assurance of God highlighting this Word to me:

“BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.”

• This was a stirring affirmation of God’s great goodness in the land of the living, as well as the eternal advantages for those that trust in Him.
• This became a refreshing, heavenly hope that ministered to my mind, and revitalized my heart.

Beloved, be encouraged to know that those things dear to your heart that you’ve been carrying in prayer for quite some time; You shall see them manifested through the goodness and grace of God here on earth – not just in heaven!!!

There are many people who believe in fate – whatever will be, will be – but this is not a biblical principle. The Bible says that you have a hand in shaping your own destiny by the choices and decisions you make.  You get what you expect to get.

In order to have faith in God, you have to first KNOW what He has promised and then, secondly, you have to BELIEVE that He is faithful to keep His promises.

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”. Psalm 27:13

David said, “What would have become of me had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!” David knew that if he had given up hope, if he had believed that God had let him down, if he had walked around bemoaning the passing problems of this transitory life – choosing to believe what the devil and his circumstances were telling him, that his life would have been utterly destroyed and he never would have fulfilled the call and the plan of God for his life.

Yes, God had made him a promise, but it was his confidence in God’s Word that brought him out of his difficulties into the blessing.🙌🙌🙌

Yom Kippur In Brief

What: Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year, when we are closest to God and to the essence of our souls. Yom Kippur means “Day of Atonement,” as the verse states, “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before God.”1

When: The 10th day of Tishrei (in 2020, from several minutes before sunset on Sunday, September 27, until after nightfall on Monday, September 28), coming on the heels of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year, which is on the first and second days of Tishrei).

How: For nearly 26 hours we “afflict our souls”: we abstain from food and drink, do not wash or apply lotions or creams, do not wear leather footwear, and abstain from marital relations. Instead, we spend the day in synagogue, praying for forgiveness.

Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה), literally meaning the “head [of] the year.

The very next day after Jesus comes out of the wilderness – (after 40 days); He start the head of the Year.  HE started His ministry on Rosh Hashanah.  How cool is that ?
