Blessings Consecration Partner,

                                                     

 

 

 

THE SPIRIT & THE SWORD AS ONE

For the Word of God is quick, and powerful,

and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing

even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,

and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner

of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is

there any creature that is not manifest in His sight;

but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes

of him with whom we have to do.

Hebrews 4:12-13

Time and Effort = Reward was the only thing I highlighted to you during the weekend time of reflection because you must understand the prerequisite, the pre-work, the groundwork, the necessary requirement that is mandatory in preparing one’s self for the “new next level” in God. So when God moves in His perfect timing on our behalf….we will be ”postured ready” to receive the download of blessings. God will not introduce anything new in your world until you are ready for it. You cannot by-pass this process!

As I yielded to the Spirit of Truth during prayer time on Saturday, He began praying through me the words such as: reveal, expose, uncover, hidden, consuming fire. I began praying on behalf of us all that He would do just that. Reveal, expose, uncover every hidden agenda of the enemy set against our assignment, our purpose, and every aspect our lives including the enemy that lies within each of us. The Spirit of Truth then led me to our scripture reading of today: Hebrews 4:12-13

God’s Word is not old; but it is active, alive, quick and powerful. Sharper than any two-edged sword. Sharper than a surgeon’s scalpel. It cuts both ways. It is the sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17). It is the two-edged sword that cometh out of the mouth of Christ. Imagine this sword piercing you and separating ignorance from understanding, darkness from light, carnality from spirituality, lies from truth, rebellion from your will and enmity from the mind (OMG) ! This sword even divides between the joints and the marrow. The most secret, close, and intimate parts of the body; the lust of the flesh as well as the lust of the mind must all undergo the sharpest surgical operation for the mortifying of sin. It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart – even the most secretive and remote thoughts and purposes – the vileness, foulness, and perverseness of every vain imagination is all revealed / disclosed to you by way of the sword. It is this powerful two-edged sword that will turn the “inside” of you “outwards” allowing you to see all that is in your heart! Nothing or No one (no creature) can be concealed from Christ. God is the Creator of all; therefore, nothing in all of creation is hidden from His sight . Everything, of us is naked, uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him. God eye sees man ( you and I) as though we were naked, unable to hide behind excuses or pretense.

Recognizing that we all must give an account before the Lord should no doubt engage us to persevere in faith and obedience❤

 Zion Is Calling Me

 To A Higher Place Of Praise

 To Stand Upon The Mountain

 And Magnify His Name

To Tell All The People

And Every Nation That He Reigns

Zion is Calling Me To A Higher Place of Praise

That’s the song that began reigning in my spirit this morning after prayer !!!

(Spend some time this weekend reflecting on the lyrics of the song🎶 —I will forward via text)

God has promised us a “new thing” and that promise most likely prompted you to join this consecration. Therefore, be assured that He sees your sacrifice and will reward you accordingly to your investment. In other words, over the next 37 days, the time that you spend investing in your relationship with God will pay off handsomely.

The “new thing / next level” you seek is here but your possession of it requires time and effort. Thus, rise early in the morning to give Him praise and seek His direction through prayer and the reading of His Word. This little investment of your time will reap an abundant reward.

Blessings Consecration Partner,

Have you ever encountered a mountaintop experience where the Lord takes you on a journey in the spirit and shows you great and wondrous things. He shows you an extraordinary vision by way of the supernatural. And then, it is as if He brings you back to earth and says “Now walk out the process!”

That’s what I believe took place yesterday afternoon during my prayer time as the Lord spoke to me the following concerning us:

“The download of blessing is gonna come all at once”.

“My timing is perfect”.

“And ALL of these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee,

if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God”.

Deuteronomy28:2

WOW! Such a mighty promise of blessing at the commence of this consecration!!!

Now Beloved, we must walk out the process through way of this consecration while “expecting the unexpected”. If your life is anything like mine, God has already started working on your heart and making it ready to receive more of Him. What we’re surrendering is also quite varied. Some are fasting from food, some from lack of trust; while others relinquish fear, selfishness, pride, and insecurity. Each journey will be different, but we are all united in a single cause: to draw closer to God.

Yesterday, we ended the blog talking about “rotten fruit” as it relates to things that we may feel we’re over or have overcome.  Well, I believe during this consecration, my low hanging fruit of being critical and judgmental needs the Lord’s personal picking during this consecration. I’ve also identified my weakness as “feeling inadequate” in many ways. I understand that this is a false belief and such untruth must be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as shared yesterday. ( 2 Corinthians 10:5). So, one of my personal assignments during the 40 day is to read various sources – particularly on “Humility”.

Humility is not a thing we bring to God. It is also not a thing God gives to us. It is simply the realization of what nothings we really are, when we truly see how God is EVERYTHING; and when we clear out room in our hearts so that He can be everything for us.

You must make the same commitment. Growth won’t occur by osmosis; a dream comes with much business and painful effort. If you want to experience a new thing in God, you must do your part. Hence, humble yourself before the King of Glory, listen to His instructions, and move as He directs. Freedom is on the way.

Why 40 days?

The number 40 is significant for several reasons. One, it is universally accepted as a number of importance to God not only for the frequency of its occurrence in the Bible but also for its association with a period of trial and probation.

• In Noah’s day the rains fell for 40 days and nights

• The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years

• Goliath presented himself to Israel for 40 days

• David reigned over Israel for 40 years

• Jesus fasted 40 days and 40 nights

While it may be also true as research indicates that it takes about 21 days to break a habit; the number 40 is significant because it appears to be, at least from my experiences the right amount of time needed to break a stronghold.

A stronghold is an incorrect pattern of thinking that influences how we live our lives.

In and of ourselves, we are hopeless to change, but with God, all things are possible. His healing virtue tears down the walls that have kept us confined and His grace propels us further than we ever thought we go. The mere passing of time does not make us whole. Simply saying the words “I’m over that” doesn’t make it so, nor does burying the pain deep in the recesses of our mind. A process of healing and deliverance must take place!!!

There may be some of you fighting with God. He is telling you to fast from a certain belief or behavior that you believe you are “over” and you are refusing to re-visit that old issue. Well, if God is leading you to do so, He knows that there is some rotten fruit that still needs picking.

The only way to challenge every rebellious thought is to study and meditate on God’s word. Let His truth become your truth. Here’s His truth: You don’t need anyone to approve of or accept you because God loves you just the way you are!!!

Blessings Consecration Partner,

We’ re in a collision of kingdoms, and it takes “intent” to bring things under and into the kingdom of God. Because of the collision of kingdoms, consecration is usually the first act of effective prayer.

The blessings of the kingdom of God cannot flow until we first bring things under the rule and jurisdiction of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully, we have spent the past few days coming into such “alignment” in preparation of our “new next level.”

The power of proclaiming

We enforce by proclaiming what is true over the subject at hand. For example, we proclaim our authority over our homes because we do have that authority, and we are requiring all things in the heavens and the earth to recognize and yield to that authority.

We are announcing to all kingdoms and powers that the authority of Jesus Christ is now in effect here! Proclaiming also causes your own spirit to rise up . Everything sort of stands at attention when you begin to proclaim the truth.

I read a post today that says:

WHEN WE PRAY “Our Father Who is in Heaven”

we understand we are no longer in the natural realm,

but we’ve crossed into that heavenly realm!!!

THIS IS SUCH A POWERFUL PERSPECTIVE!

Proclaiming and enforcing is the heart of what I call “commanding my morning”. It is a choice each morning to realign ourselves with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

It is important in understanding the collision of the kingdoms constantly going on all around us; and the need to be intentional about “remaining” in daily intimacy and union with the Father.

EM BOUNDS said – The entire man must pray. The whole man – life, heart, temper, mind are all in it. It takes a whole heart to do effectual praying!

Blessings Consecration Partner,

I am so grateful for this opportunity to connect with you on a more personal and deeper level. I believe CONSECRATION is a new expression of order in the earth – a special time of focus on the presence of our Lord and Savior by praying, fasting, and giving. This triple trio is a dynamic force when simultaneously put into action.

Purification is a prerequisite to entering the presence of the Lord

Fasting and consecration allows us to crucify our flesh. It breaks chains spiritually. Times of fasting and purification are opportunities to know who and where you really are in relation to God. These are times for introspection, soul-searching, self-evaluation, and self-sacrifice to God. Fasting and consecration doesn’t change God, it changes us!

There are multitudes of application for consecration. However, this particular act of consecrating is the act of dedicating yourself, or your home, a relationship, a job, your sexuality, or whatever needs God’s Grace – deliberately and intentionally to Jesus, bringing it fully into His kingdom and under His rule. It seems so obvious now that we’ve stated it, but you would be surprised how often this vital step is overlooked (and then people wonder why their prayers don’t seem to be effective).

DEDICATE OURSELVES AFRESH TO GOD by renouncing every way wandered from Him. Present our lives, our gifting, and our calling completely to Jesus, to be filled again with his Spirit, to be His and His alone.

Think of consecration as “aligning” and “enforcing”. Aligning yourself, or the subject in question, with Jesus and all the laws of His kingdom, then enforcing His rule and those laws over the matter in question. The first steps, which we are now covering, are mostly the aligning part. But often the enforcing requires a bit more oomph – especially if you are having difficulties in a particular area – which brings me to the power of proclaiming on which I will share with you on tomorrow…….STAY TUNED

Blessings Consecration Partner,

WELCOME to the 40 day Consecration Challenge and THANK YOU for joining me.

Consecration begins August 21^st – September 29^th. ROSH HASHANA The New Year will be commemorated on September 30^th.

Please spend time in prayer prior to Aug 21^st asking the Lord what it is He would have you to “lay aside” for these upcoming 40 days. It may be certain types of food, a behavior, or a habit. It maybe sweets, meats, junk food, selfishness, envy, negative talk, social media that you surrender or abstain from during this time of consecration . Do know that I am not suggesting that this 40 day consecration is to replace the Isaiah 58: 6-9 traditional fasting. Both have their place.

Feel free to invite another person along with you on this journey. It helps to have accountability. As iron sharpens iron, we will partner for the purpose of accountability and encouragement throughout this “time sensitive” period.

I will be blogging devotionals, or forwarding voicemail and/or videos Monday- Friday.

Saturdays and Sundays will be designated exclusively for your personal time with God.

I also will be challenging you to respond to the “reflective questions” that will periodically be asked. All responses, inquiries, concerns, etc; will be addressed via email.

Please make sure to begin each day with prayer and the reading of the word. Also, read scriptures that are related to your specific area of surrender. Make sure to journal what you sense God is saying to you.

Don’t be too hard on yourself during the 40 days. A closer, deeper walk with God, not perfection is the goal. Therefore, seek Him will all your heart, surrender your will for His, and watch Him do the miraculous in your life.

I truly believe if this fast if followed faithfully and honestly, it will change your life.

I pray you will have an experience with God that exceeds all other encounters with Him, and that the benefits of your surrender are reaped for many generations to come. So without further ado, welcome to the 40 day Consecration!

“Jacob…wrestled with {God} until the breaking of the day.” Genesis 32:24 Do you believe that some of your toughest battles will be with God? That’s because there’s a “Jacob nature” in each of us that resists the will of God, and it has to be dealt with. The same God who asked Jacob, “What is your name?” will ask you to identify yourself too. Remember the Lord never ask questions to find out the answer. He already knows the answer. He wanted Jacob to confess not just his name, but his character. He had to say My name is Jacob – the supplanter, the conniver, the schemer.  It wasn’t until brokenness, acknowledgement, and confession came. God has to reveal to us the power of our flesh before we can be delivered from it. So until you’re willing to do an honest evaluation and answer truthfully, your life can’t change for the better. God had to break Jacob by dislocating his hip; the thing he depended on. Jacob got his blessing at the same time he got his limp. Now, ask yourself, “Do I really want the blessing of God on my life?” Consider first these questions: (1) Am I willing to let go of what I want if it’s not God’s will for me? (2) Do I covet what others have instead of waiting for God’s provision for me? (3) Do I keep talking about my rights because I have not fully surrendered to the Lord? (4) Do I truly love others and think of them first? (5) Am I practicing the daily disciplines of prayer and studying the WORD? (6) Am I allowing God to handle my public relations instead of promoting myself? (7) Am I taking risks in obedience to Christ instead of giving in to fear and playing it safe? (8) Am I expressing joy in the midst of adversity and trusting God to reproduce the character of Jesus in me? Not only will your answers to these questions determine your discipleship, your direction, and your destiny – they will also determine your level of blessing..
